CITY OF LAKE ELMO WASHINGTON COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - 084 RESOLUTION SETTING THE 2026 PROPERTY TAX LEVY AND ADOPTING VARIOUS 2026 BUDGETS WHEREAS, The City of Lake Elmo is required by State law to approve a resolution setting forth an annual property tax levy to the Washington County Auditor; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes currently in force require approval of a property tax levy and a budget in December of each year; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota, that the following sums of money be levied for collection in 2026 upon the taxable property in said City of Lake Elmo for the following purposes: 2026 Levy General Levy $ 6,300,000 Debt Service Levy 3,417,785 Capital Levy 1,780,000 TOTAL LEVY $ 11,497,785 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to transmit this information to the County Auditor of Washington County, Minnesota and the Minnesota Department of Revenue, if applicable, in the format requested as required by law. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, that the following budgets are hereby adopted as shown in attached 2026 Budget & Tax Levies Book; 2026 General Fund (Fund 101) Budget 2026 Debt Service (Funds 323 - 335) Budgets 2026 City Center Capital (Fund 403) Budget 2026 Fire Equipment & Project (Fund 407) Budget 2026 Street Maintenance (Fund 408) Budget 2026 Infrastructure Reserve (Fund 409) Budget 2026 Vehicle & Equipment (Fund 410) Budget 2026 Ballpark Fund (Fund 412) Budget 2026 Water Fund (Fund 601) Budget 2026 Sewer Fund (Fund 602) Budget 2026 Stormwater Fund (Fund 603) Budget 2026 Water Capital Fund (Fund 611) Budget
