(7) Also, does the acceptance of the gift imply that the City will replace the gift when worn out, <br />destroyed by vandals, etc? If the commission <br />chooses to accept the donations, any exclusions should be made for future upkeep or removal of <br />these items. <br /> <br />OPTIONS: <br />1) Approve the donation from the Lake Elmo Pickleball Friends to include two wooden benches, <br />paddle racks, drink rack and dividing fence. <br />2) Do not accept the donation. <br /> <br />The Parks Commission should identify any agreements or exclusions related to the recommendation. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends not accepting the donation from the Lake Elmo Pickleball Friends Club as the items do <br />not serve as a long-term value to the city. Aluminum benches and permanent fencing are examples of an <br />donation the city may consider with a long-term value. <br /> <br />
