<br /> <br />1. How often to you visit Ridge Park per week? <br />With 33 responds to the survey, nearly 40% of respondents indicated 1-2 times per week. The next <br />closest response was seven, using the park 3-5 times per week. <br /> <br />2. What activities do you do when you visit the park? <br /> The most common activity was walking followed by use of the playground. <br /> <br />3. Would you like to see the playset updated or removed? <br /> 80% of responses were in favor of the playground being updated. <br /> <br />4. Would you like to see the ballfield updated or removed? <br /> A majority of those surveyed were in favor of updating the ballfield. 57% of online respondents <br />were in favor along with four additional written ballots in favor of updates. <br /> <br />5. What other Amenities would you like to see at the park? <br /> While many of those surveyed responded with, None. Additional comments included adding some <br />type of hard-surfaced court including basketball, tennis and pickleball. <br /> <br />6. Should a pavilion or shade structure be constructed at the park? <br /> Sixteen responses voted in favor of a pavilion being installed in the park. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> <br />There is no financial obligation at this time. Fiscal impacts are outlined in the Capital Improvement <br />Plan (CIP) any future plans for this park should be added into the CIP. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />At this time, staff is not presenting a formal recommendation. Instead, staff encourages the Commission to <br />review and discuss both concept plans alongside the survey results. Based on this discussion, the <br />Commission is asked to provide direction on a preferred concept or identify elements to amend or combine. <br />Following this input, staff will return with an updated concept plan that incorporates the Commission's <br />feedback, along with a preliminary cost breakdown for proposed amenities to support future planning and <br />phased implementation. <br /> <br />
