Planning Commission Meeting Minutes: 12/08/25 <br /> <br />City of Lake Elmo Planning Commission <br />Meeting City Council Chambers – 3880 Laverne <br />Avenue North Minutes of Regular Meeting of <br />December 8th, 2025 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER: Commission Chair Rehkamp called to order the meeting of the Lake Elmo Planning Commission at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Amend, Bohlig, Chars, Dunn, Rehkamp, Vrieze <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Sarro <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT: Community Director Jason Stopa, Senior City Planner Sophia Jensen, City Planner Ashley Monterusso <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance at 6:30 PM <br /> <br />Approve Agenda: <br />M/S/P: Vrieze / Amend made a motion to approve the agenda Vote: 6-0, motion carried unanimously <br /> <br />Approve Minutes: <br />M/S/P: Vrieze / Chars made a motion to approve the 11-10-25 meeting minutes with amended call to order. Vote: 6-0, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Public Hearing: N/A <br /> <br /> <br /> New/Unfinished Business <br />a) Short Term Rental. Discussion on short term rentals in response to the November City Council Workshop and evaluate <br />next steps. <br /> <br />Community Director Jason Stopa gave presentation and answered questions. <br /> <br />b) 2026 Work Plan. Discuss proposed 2026 work plan for the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> Senior City Planner Sophia Jensen gave presentation and answered questions. <br /> <br />M/S/P: Bohlig / Chars made a motion to recommend approval of the 2026 Planning Commission Work Plan as presented by <br />staff. Vote: 6-0, <br /> <br /> Communications/Updates: <br /> a) City Council Updates <br />i. RLS #132 – 12/2/2025 (pushed to later meeting) <br /> b) Upcoming Meetings <br />i.
