This section shall not apply to any parcel of land two acres in size or less, nor <br />does it apply to the removal of diseased trees. <br />4. Permit duration. The permit shall be valid for one year unless terminated by the council <br />for failure to comply with the provision of LEC 9.08.010 et seq. <br />5. Fee. The fee for the permit shall be the fee for certain occupations as set by resolution of <br />the council. <br />SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo hereby ordains that Title 9, Section <br />9.08.030 of the City’s Code of Ordinances is amended as follows (proposed language is <br />underlined, deleted language is shown with strikethrough): <br />9.08.030 Application--Commercial Lumbering Or Harvesting <br />The application for a permit for commercial lumbering or harvesting of forest products shall <br />contain: <br />1. The name and address of the operator and owner of the land; <br />2. The legal description of the land involved; <br />3. Names of neighboring landowners within 350 500 feet; <br />4. The plan of operation, approved by the forestry extension service of the University of <br />Minnesota; <br />5. The plan of reforestation, approved by the forestry extension service of the University of <br />Minnesota; and <br />6. A bond sufficient to cover the costs of reforestation required by LEC 9.08.010 et seq. <br />SECTION 5. The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo hereby ordains that Title 9, Section <br />9.08.040 of the City’s Code of Ordinances is amended as follows (proposed language is <br />underlined, deleted language is shown with strikethrough): <br />9.08.040 Application--Removal Of Trees From Any Forested Area <br />The application for a permit for the removal of trees from any forested area shall contain: <br />1. The name and address of the operator and owner of the land; <br />2. The legal description of the land involved; <br />3. Names of neighboring landowners within 350 500 feet; and <br />4. The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo hereby ordains that Title 103, <br />Section 103.00.070 of the City’s Code of Ordinances is amended as follows (proposed language <br />is underlined, deleted language is shown with strikethrough): <br />103.00.070 Minor Subdivisions <br />1.
