<br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that City Council and administration continue evaluating the fire department’s <br />current coverage model to ensure effective response capabilities in the southern portion of the <br />city as development progresses. These ongoing discussions should provide clear direction for <br />advancing the planning of a potential south fire station. Additionally, staff recommends that <br />funding for this study be incorporated into either the 2027 or 2028 budget cycle.
