Lake Elmo receives Gold Leaf award for sustainability efforts On Tuesday, March 3, the City of Lake Elmo was awarded the Gold Leaf Award by Kristin Mroz, GreenStep Cities & Gold Leaf Co -Director, for achieving two action goals in the Gold Leaf Challenge. The Gold Leaf Challenge is a sister program to the Minnesota GreenStep Cities program, which the City has been participating in since 2012. City requests proposals for lawn care services The City of Lake Elmo Public Works Department is accepting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide lawn maintenance at 47 city owned properties for the 2026-2028 growing season. The scope of work includes providing labor, equipment and affiliated material for lawn maintenance to properties owned and maintained by the City of Lake Elmo.
