The purpose of this assessment is to work in partnership with the department to <br />align the with best practices, efficient operations, use of technology, and to match the department <br />size with our growing community and service level expectations. In January 2025, the City <br />Council awarded a contract to Raftelis to perform the operational assessment. <br /> <br />Raftelis and City Staff have been working together over the last few months to exchange <br />information and discuss recommendations. <br /> <br />ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: <br />Does the City Council have any additional questions about the Public Works Operational <br />Assessment? <br /> <br />PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS: <br />Brian Kirsch and Scott Parker from Raftelis will present their findings and recommendations to <br />the City Council. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Public Works Operational Assessment Report
