Engineering <br />The Engineering Department is dedicated to planning, designing, and delivering <br />safe, reliable, and sustainable public infrastructure. We serve the community by <br />implementing and advancing the City’s vision through responsible stewardship <br />of public resources and are committed to strengthening the economic vitality <br />and quality of life in Lake Elmo. <br />Core Services <br />Transportation planning and coordination with Washington County and <br />MnDOT <br />Asset management (pavement management, utility systems) <br />Surveying, GIS, and mapping services <br />Grant writing and funding administration <br />Construction inspection and contract administration <br />Infrastructure planning and design (roads, utilities, stormwater systems) <br />Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) development and project <br />delivery <br />Development review and construction oversight for private <br />projects <br />Water, wastewater, and stormwater system management <br />Environmental compliance and permitting (MPCA, MS4, <br />PFAS response)
