Elmo's Pup Park Clean-Up Day
Thank you to everyone who joined us
Saturday for the cleanup event at Elmo’s Pup
Park! With the help of dedicated volunteers,
the park got a much-needed refresh—
making it cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable
for both people and their four-legged
friends.
From picking up litter to tidying shared
spaces, your efforts made a visible
difference. Events like this show the pride our
community takes in caring for our public
spaces.
We appreciate your time, energy, and
commitment—and we hope you and your
pups enjoy the park even more because of
it!
Friends Group Forming for
Schiltgen Park May 2
Let's try it again.
Meet up at the Schiltgen Park sign on
Saturday, May2, at 10 am, if you are
interested in working together as Friends of
Schiltgen Park. We will talk a walk on the
trails and pick up any loose garbage we see,
so bring a garbage bag to help with the
cleanup.
Visit https://www.sminc-lake-
elmo.org/schiltgen-park
[https://www.sminc-lake-
elmo.org/schiltgen-park] to learn more.
Summer Camp Spotlight
We’ve added a new camp on Friday, June 27,
from 9 a.m.–3 p.m.: Sally’s Art Camp!
Professional artist Julie Schroeder will guide
campers (ages 11+) through acrylic pouring
—a fun, brush-free painting technique that
creates vibrant, flowing abstract designs.
Campers will choose their colors, mix
pouring medium, and try techniques like
swirls, flip cups, and more. Drop-off begins at
9 a.m., with activities running 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Cost is $125 per student, including supplies.
Visit our website to register and explore
other camp options!
