2026 Lake Elmo Roadwork and Construction Updates <br />Minnesota's Other Season - <br />Road Construction <br />Welcome to Minnesota’s other season—road <br />construction 🚧 <br />As roadwork ramps up across the <br />community, we’ll keep you informed on <br />projects, timelines, and any impacts <br />throughout the summer. Stay tuned for <br />updates to help you plan ahead and travel <br />safely! <br />Hwy 36 and Lake Elmo Ave. <br />Preconstruction Meeting Wed., <br />May 20 <br />Washington County, in partnership with <br />MnDOT and the cities of Grant and Lake <br />Elmo, will host a pre-construction open <br />house for planned improvements to the <br />Highway 36 and County Highway 17 (Lake <br />Elmo Avenue) intersection. <br />The open house will take place Wednesday, <br />May 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Lower-Level Room <br />14 at the Washington County Government <br />Center (14949 62nd St. N., Stillwater, MN <br />55082). <br />Highway construction begins in June. This <br />project will be ongoing through the fall of <br />2027.
