CSAH 14 - Stillwater Blvd <br />Closure Westbound from 39th <br />St. to Lake Elmo Ave. N. <br />The City of Lake Elmo has retained Miller <br />Excavating to replace an existing section of <br />water main that is failing along Stillwater <br />Boulevard (CSAH 14). <br />CSAH 14 (Stillwater Boulevard) will be closed to <br />westbound traffic from 39th Street to Lake Elmo <br />Ave. N. (west of the elementary school). <br />The anticipated start date of this work is May <br />26th, and it will be in place for two months. <br />Stillwater Boulevard will be eastbound traffic <br />only. All access points to side streets (Lake <br />Elmo Avenue, Laverne Avenue, and Layton <br />Avenue) will be open to turn onto off Stillwater <br />Boulevard. <br />All residential and commercial driveways that <br />access to Stillwater Boulevard will be open <br />during construction and accessible if traveling <br />eastbound on Stillwater Boulevard. The work is <br />expected to take approximately 2 months to <br />complete (weather dependent). <br />Island Trail Road Closure <br />Begins Wednesday, May 6 <br />Island Trail will be closed between Eagle <br />Point Boulevard and 5th Street North <br />beginning May 6, 2026, to allow for roadway <br />and utility work related to the Inwood <br />Townhomes development. <br />The closure is expected to last <br />approximately three weeks. Detour signage <br />will be posted next week to help guide <br />drivers and pedestrians around the work <br />area.
