In 2025, they constructed a temporary tower on the city-owned site in anticipation of the removal of the <br />water tower. <br />ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: <br />Should the Council extend the lease with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC? <br />PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS: <br />Their current lease expires July 1st, and the proposed 9-month extension expires April 1, 2027. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />One-time payment of $16,848. <br />OPTIONS: <br />• Approve the lease extension <br />• Deny the lease extension <br />• Modify the lease extension <br />RECOMMENDATION: (if pulled from Consent) <br />Staff recommends approval of the lease extension. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Lease extension agreement
