This parcel was <br />anticipated to be a commercial site based on the Inwood Master Plan that was approved in 2014 and has already <br />been mass graded. The project, to be called Inwood Commercial, will contain five commercial lots. The current <br />request only includes subdivision of the property to create the individual commercial lots. After the subdivision <br />is created, any parties interested in establishing commercial uses on the lots must conform with all standard <br />requirements and receive the necessary approvals at the time they are proposed. <br />ISSUE BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL: <br />The City Council is being asked to hold a public hearing and make a recommendation on the preliminary plat <br />request. <br />GENERAL INFORMATION: <br />Applicant/Property Owner : Vadnais Associates LLC <br />Location: Outlot K of InWood <br />PID#s: 33.029.21.12.0006 <br />Request: Preliminary Plat <br />Site Area: 17.34 acres <br />Current Zoning and 2040 FLU: C – Commercial and Partial Shoreland Overlay <br />Surrounding: Rural Residential (north); Low Density Residential and Public Facilities (east); <br />Commercial (south); City of Oakdale (west) <br />History: The parcel is undeveloped and a part of the 2014 InWood master plan
