FISCAL IMPACT: <br />While the City will pay the upfront cost for the AUAR renewal, it will be able to recover the costs by <br />implementing an AUAR fee to the developer(s) who buys the land within the project area. This fee can be <br />added in 2027. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommend that the City Council, as part of the Consent Agenda, approve the Kimley-Horn proposal for <br />renewing the AUAR on the City’s 180 acres. <br />Motion if removed from the consent agenda: <br />“Motion to approve Kimley-Horn’s scope for renewal of the Alternative Urban Area Review on the City’s <br />180 Acres.” <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Bolton & Menk Proposal <br />Kimley Horn Proposal <br /> <br />
