RESOLUTION NO. 91-20 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR SW -1 WELL ABANDONMENT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Well <br />Abandonment portion of the SW -1 Watermain Project, bids were received, <br />opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />received complying with the advertisement: <br />NAME OF BIDDER: AMOUNT OF BID: <br />Keys Well Drilling $49,941.00 <br />Thein Well Co. 69,785.40 <br />Bergerson- Caswell 75,464.50 <br />E.H. Renner & Sons 82,088.00 <br />Mark J. Traut Wells 98,702.80 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Keys Well Drilling is the lowest <br />responsible bidder for for the SW -1 Well Abandonment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO, MN: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract with Keys Well Drilling in the name of the City of <br />Lake Elmo for the construction of SW -1 Well Abandonment according to <br />the plans and specifications therfore approved by the City Council and <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except <br />that the deposits to the successful bidder and next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />ADOPTED, by the City Council thi: <br />Signed: <br />ATTEST: <br />-'; � Li <br />Mary ueff< .
