RESOLUTION NO. 96-41 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CHARITABLE <br />GAMBLING LICENSE BY THE STATE OF MINNESOTA TO THE <br />MAPLEWOOD-OAKDALE LIONS <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood-Oakdale Lions has requested that the State of <br />Minnesota issue a One-Day (February 3, 1997) Off -Site Gambling License; and <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood- Oakdale Lions has requested to sell raffles and <br />tipboards at a location within an establishment commonly known as the Lake <br />Elmo Inn located at 3442 Lake Elmo Avenue N., Lake Elmo, Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood-Oakdale Lions comply with all Charitable <br />Gambling rules and regulations as set forth in Section 1104 of the Lake Elmo <br />Municipal Code; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Lake Elmo <br />hereby approves the issuance of a charitable gambling application requested by <br />the Maplewood-Oakdale Lions. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 17th day of December, 1996. <br />WyrYjo,hn-, t4ayor <br />Mary Kueffn4, &y rAdministrator <br />
