City of Lake Elmo <br />Washington County, Minnesota <br />Resolution 97- 38 <br />A Resolution Accepting Bid for 1997 Sealcoating <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1997 Sealcoating, bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to taw, and the following bids were received complying <br />with the advertisement: <br />Allied Blacktop Inc. <br />$51,390.00 <br />Bituminous Roadways Inc. <br />$56,495.00 <br />Astech Corp. <br />$62,110.00 <br />Caldwell Asphalt <br />$71,840.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Allied Blacktop is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL: <br />1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Allied Blacktop in the name of the City of Lake Elmo for the I997 <br />Sealcoat Improvements according to the plans and specifications therefor approved <br />by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator. <br />2.
