I —T", I IL <br />#A10 19598 <br />Attached are two copies of a proposed agreement between the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the <br />City of Lake Elmo. This agreement provides for payment to the City of the State's share of the landscape <br />materials acquisition by the City for use along TH 5 within the corporate City Iimits, in accordance with the State's <br />"Community Roadside Enhancement Partnership Program." <br />Kindly review this agreement and arrange to have it presented to the City Council for their approval and execution. <br />This requires ORIGINAL NOTARIZED SIGNATURES of the City Council authorized City officers on both <br />copies of the agreement. Also, required are two copies of a new resolution passed by the City Council authorizing <br />its officers to sign the agreement. A suggested form of such resolution is attached. The resolution copies must <br />also be NOTARIZED. This is a change from past practices in that the agreement and the resolution must <br />both be notarized. <br />Please return executed agreement copies to me for execution by the Metro Division Engineer, after which all copies <br />will be returned to the Municipal Agreements Office for further execution on behalf of the State.
