RESOLUTION NO. 98-37 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERNUT TO WALT PECHAN, <br />COUNTRYSIDE WOOD PRODUCTS <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission held a public hearing on this request on July <br />8, 1996, as required by City Ordinance; <br />NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a Conditional Use Permit is granted to Walter <br />Pechan, for the operation of Countryside Wood Products subject to the Permittee's compliance with the <br />following conditions: <br />1. There shall be no outside storage of materials; <br />2. If any trash is to be located outside the building, it shall be screened from view in a structure <br />with materials to match the building; <br />3. The building inspector shall review a prepared list of any hazardous materials used for the <br />woodworking process, storage of those materials, and a disposal plan. These shall meet all <br />PCA standards; <br />4. The City shall receive a permit from the Valley Branch Watershed District prior to issuance <br />of a building permit. (Completed); <br />5. A grading and excavating plan shall be reviewed and approved by the City Engineer prior to <br />the issuance of a building permit. This plan should indicate all erosion control measures to be <br />taken during construction; <br />6. All comments and recommendations made by the City Engineer in his memos of May S, <br />1997 and .Tune 7, 1996 shall be made part of these conditions. Specifically, an updated plan <br />for the outlet pipe from the storm water pond on the southeast corner of the property; <br />7. Additional landscaping/a hedge shall be added along the north parking lot; <br />8. The adjacent property owner, Charles Anderson and Don Tauer shall grant a drainage <br />easement for the outlet pipe on the northeast section of the property. This easement shall be <br />fled with the City; <br />9. Any lighting shall meet the lighting ordinance regulations; <br />10. All conditions of the MnDOT drainage permit dated 5/29/97 shall be made as part of these <br />conditions; <br />11. Any signage shall be consistent with the sign regulations; <br />12. Inside storage is not allowed. <br />(Attachment) <br />
