CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />It <br />RESOLUTION 99 -51 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT <br />FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MUNICIPAL WATER TO SERVE THE 110 ACRES <br />OF LAND CURRENTLY WITH THE CITY'S MUNICIPAL URBAN SERVICE <br />AREA; AND TO INCLUDE IN THIS FEASIBILITY THE COST FOR EXTENDING <br />THIS MUNICIPAL WATER ACROSS A TOTAL OF 440 ACRES <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the 110 acres of land within the City's <br />Municipal Urban Service Area by installing municipal water, and to assess the benefited <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY <br />COUNCIL, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for study and <br />that he is instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the <br />council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is <br />necessary, cost - effective, and feasible and as to whether it should be made as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost <br />of the improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Lake Elmo City Council this 17'h day of August, 1999. <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor <br />Mary Kueffner, City d ninistrator <br />
