CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-047 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 50" Street forth Street <br />Improvement (from. highway 5 to County Road 13), bids were received, opened and <br />tabulated according to law, and the following bids -arere received complying with the <br />advertisement: <br />T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. $710,354.50 <br />Tower Asphalt, Inc. $827,137.05 <br />North Valley, Inc. $837,246.94 <br />(Engineer's Estimate: $800,532.00) <br />'WHEREAS, T.A.. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITE' COUNCIL OF <br />LAKE EL O, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with T.A. Sclzifsky R- Sons, Inc. in the name of the City of Lake <br />Elmo for the 50`� Street Road Improvement (from Hghway 5 to County - <br />Road 17), according to the plans and specifications approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the city clerk. <br />2.
