CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002 - 086 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SERVICES FROM <br />ABDO, EICK & MEYERS, LLP <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council has approved auditing services with <br />ABDO, EICK & MEYERS, LLP for the year ended December 31, 2002, <br />WHEREAS, ABDO, EICK & MEYERS, LLP has prepared the annual financial <br />report for the City of Lake Elmo for year ended December 31, 2001, <br />WHEREAS, the audit objective is the expression of an opinion as to whether the <br />City's financial statements are presented, in all material respects, in conformity with <br />accounting principles accepted in the United States of America, <br />WHEREAS, the Management of the City of Lake Elmo understands it is <br />responsible for making all financial records and related information available for the <br />audit and responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that information. <br />WHEREAS, ABDO, EICK & MEYERS, LLP will prepare finance statements <br />including all required schedules, notes to financial statements and supplementary <br />scheduled included in the financial statements. <br />WHEREAS, the fee for these services is estimated at approximately $11,500, <br />NOW, THERFORE, the Lake Elmo Finance Director agrees with the terms of the <br />August 20, 2002 letter from Steven R.
