CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-072 <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES <br />FOR STATE PRIMARY ELECTION OF SEPTEMBER 10, 2002 <br />AND GENERAL ELECTION OF NOVEMBER 5, 2002 <br />WHEREAS, according to State Statute, a list of Election Judges must be <br />submitted to the City Council for approval by Council resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, Election Judges shall perform all statutory duties pertaining to <br />opening of polling place, ballot preparation, assisting voters, counting of ballots, and <br />delivery of summary statements; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the attached listing of residents are hereby <br />appointed as the Election Judges to serve during the State Primary Election on September <br />10, 2002 and General Election on November 5, 2002, and set the wages for their services <br />at $10.00/Hour to the Head Judges, $9.00 /Hour Assistant Judges and $8.50/1-lour to all <br />other judges. <br />ADOPTED, this 6`" day of August, 2002 by the City Council of the City of Lake <br />Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota. .� <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />VAQ5�j-SA. <br />1 <br />- <br />Mary effne , City Adn ' .
