CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-054 <br />A RESOLUTION WAIVING TERMS OF RESOLUTION 2002 -061 <br />RELATING TO WATERING BAN <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 2002 -061 initiating an <br />Odd/Even Sprinkling Ban, which means that the non - essential use of water, including <br />lawn sprinkling, vehicle washing, golf course and park irrigation, are permitted only on <br />even number days if your address ends with an even number, and only on odd numbered <br />days if your address ends with an odd number. <br />WHEREAS, the City has received requests made by residents with newly seeded <br />or sodded lawns for temporary waiver of the Odd/Even Watering Ban for residents on <br />city water. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lake Elmo City Council <br />hereby approves a two week exemption to the permanent odd/even watering restriction <br />for two weeks after placing new sod upon issuance of a city permit. <br />ADOPTED by the Lake Elmo City Council the 17'h day of June, 2003, <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Charles E.
