CITY OF LADE ELIO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-111 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 88-5 <br />GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />TO THE OAKDA.LE GUN CLUE FOR AN OUTDOOR TARGET RANGE <br />IN THE AGRICULTURAL ZONING DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 88 -5, the Oakdale Gun Club received approval <br />for a Conditional Use Permit to operate an Outdoor Target Range located at 10386 N. <br />10'' Street, <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. -58, the Oakdale Gun Club received approval <br />for an amendment to allover construction of a caretaker residence and storage building, <br />WHEREAS, the Oakdale Gun Club has applied for an amendment to the existing <br />Conditional Use Permit, <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted all the required documentation and fees <br />for the application of such expansion of use for the existing Conditional Use Permit; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission held a public hearing on <br />October 12, 2005 on the application for an amendment to the Conditional Use Permit to <br />allow construction of a 36 feet by 12 feet expansion to an existing storage building, based <br />on plans staff dated. October 6, 2005; and recommended approval of the Conditional Use <br />Permit amendment based on the following findings: <br />1. The proposed CUP amendment will not result in additional impact on the <br />public health, safety, morals or general welfare of surrounding property. <br />Operations of the gun club will not be altered as a result of the CUP <br />amendment. <br />2. Traffic impacts of the use will not change as a result of the CUP amendment. <br />3. Effect on public utilities and school capacity are not applicable. <br />4. There will be no changes in visual impact of the use because the storage <br />building is located in the center of the site. <br />5. The amendment has no impact on the Comprehensive Plan. <br />WHEREAS, at its October 18, 2005 meeting, the Lake Elmo City Council <br />approved the amendment to the Conditional Use Permit allowing construction of a 36 <br />
