CITY OF LAKE ELO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-100 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR THE WATER SYSTEM <br />INTERCONNECT — PHASE III <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the WATER SYSTEM INTERCONNECT <br />— PHASE III, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor <br />Base Bid <br />Chris Riley Utilities, Inc. <br />$612,000.00 <br />Ellingson Drainage Inc. <br />$700,000.00 <br />Frontier Pipeline <br />$707,056.00 <br />Minncomm Utility Construction Co., Inc. <br />$753,106.00 <br />Push Inc. <br />$828,610.50 <br />G.M. Contracting, Inc. <br />$838,082.09 <br />Engineer's Estimate <br />$768,239.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, Chris Riley Utilities, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE ELMO, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Chris <br />Riley Utilities, Inc. in the name of the City of Lake Elmo for the Water System Interconnect— <br />Phase III, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and <br />on file in the office of the city clerk. <br />2.
