RESOLUTION NO. 2007- 091 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A <br />C14ARI1 ABLE GAMBLING LICENSE <br />BY THE STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />TO THE MAPLEWOOD/OAKDALE LIONS <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood/Oakdale Lions has requested that the State of <br />Minnesota issue a One -Day (February 4, 2008) Off-Site Gambling License; and <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood /Oakdale Lions has requested to sell raffles and hold <br />bingo at a location within an establishment known as the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center, <br />located at 3712 Lake Elmo Avenue N., Lake Elmo, Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood /Oakdale Lions comply with the Charitable <br />Gambling rules and regulations as set forth in Section 1110.04 of the Lake Elmo <br />Municipal Code; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Lake Ehno <br />hereby approves the issuance of a charitable gambling application requested by the <br />Maplewood/Oakdale Lions. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 4th day o cembeq!�, 2007. <br />Dean Johnston, Mayo' <br />ATTEST: <br />Sharon Lumby, City Clerk <br />Th.j•.s resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo <br />on the 4th day of December 2007, by a vote of 5 Ayes and 0 Nays. <br />Mayor Johnston - Aye <br />Council Member DeLapp - Aye <br />Council Member Johnson - Aye <br />Council Member Park --Aye <br />Council Member Smith -- Aye <br />
