RESOLUTION NO. 2009- 053 <br />CITY OF LAKE EL MO <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A <br />CHARITABLE ' i <br />BY THE STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood /Oakdale Lions has requested that the State of <br />Minnesota issue a One -Day (February 1, 2010) Off -Site Gambling License; and <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood /Oakdale Lions has requested to sell raffles and hold <br />bingo at a location within an establishment known as the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center, <br />located at 3712 Lake Elmo Avenue N., Lake Elmo, Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the Maplewood /Oakdale Lions comply with the Charitable <br />Gambling rules and regulations as set forth in Section 1110.04 of the Lake Elmo <br />Municipal Code; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Lake Elmo <br />hereby approves the issuance of a charitable gambling application requested by the <br />Maplewood /Oakdale Lions. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Co nail this 15th any ecember 009, <br />AX <br />can Johnston, Mayor <br />Sharon Lumby, City Clerk <br />
