Councilmember Emmons introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption, which motion was seconded by Councilmember Smith <br />City of Lake Elmo <br />Washington County, Minnesota <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-041 <br />A RESOLUTION CONSOLIDATING AND ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, <br />Minnesota (the City), as follows-, <br />1. The City has, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, undertaken <br />certain improvements collectively designated the "2009 Street Improvements," and by <br />resolution adopted on April 7, 2009, has ordered the 2009 Street Improvements. <br />2. The City has previously received a report dated August 18, 2009, with <br />respect to certain improvements described as the 2009 Street Improvement and <br />Reconstruction of the entry and parking lot at Tablyn Park. The Tablyn Park <br />Improvements are deemed necessary, cost effective and feasible, as further detailed in the <br />Report. <br />3. The City has, on the date hereof, held a public hearing with respect to <br />the Tablyn Park Improvements, pursuant to duly published notice. <br />4. The City finds that the 2009 Street Improvements and the Tablyn Park <br />Improvements could be more economically completed if consolidated and joined as one <br />project. The City proposes to finance the 2009 Street Improvements and the Tablyn Park <br />Improvements by the issuance of its General Obligation Improvement Bonds, Series <br />2009B. The Tablyn Park Improvements are hereby ordered, and the 2009 Street <br />Improvements and Tablyn Park Improvements are hereby consolidated pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 435.56. <br />ADOPTED by the Lake Elmo Co cil October 2 <br />Dean A.
