CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO 2010-028 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo recently completed and adopted the 2010 Comprehensive <br />Transportation Plan and the Village Area Master Plan together with a Village Area Alternative <br />Urban Areawide Review (A UAR). <br />WHEREAS, these planning efforts resulted in the City of Lake Elmo identifying a long term guide <br />for the development and improvement of the City's transportation network. <br />WHEREAS, City staff has subsequently reviewed and made recommended system revisions to <br />improve the City's Municipal State Aid Street System to better align with the policies and goals <br />of the 2030 Transportation Plan. <br />WHEREAS, based on these recommendations, it appears to the City Council of the City of Lake <br />Elmo that the streets hereinafter described as Municipal State Aid Streets under the provisions of <br />Minnesota Laws, are no longer good candidates for designation as state aid routes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo that the <br />streets described as follows, to -wit. <br />SA (VU RR STREET NAME FROM T <br />206-101-010 <br />LOWER 33RD STN <br />LAKE ELMO AVENUE (CSAH 17) <br />KLONDIKEAVENUE <br />206 -101 -020 <br />KLONDIKEAVE N <br />STILLWATER BLVD NORTH (TH 5) <br />33RD STREET N <br />206 -106 -010 <br />UPPER 33RD STN <br />LAKE ELMO AVENUE (CSAH 17) <br />LAVERNE AVENUE N <br />206 -106 -020 <br />LAVERNE AVE N <br />UPPER 33RD STREETN <br />39TH STREET <br />206 - 116 -010 <br />LINDEN AVE N <br />50TH STREET <br />SOUTH OF EXISTING LINDEN AVE N <br />206 -116 -020 <br />LINDEN AVE N <br />SOUTH OF EXISTING LINDEN AVE N <br />MANNING AVENUE N <br />206 - 116 -030 <br />MANNING AVE N <br />LINDEN AVENUE N <br />TH 36 <br />be, and hereby are, revoked as a Municipal State Aid Street of'said City subject to the approval <br />of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward <br />two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for consideration. <br />Resolution No. 2010 -028 1 <br />
