RESOLUTION 2012-30 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 204B.21 of the Minnesota Election Laws, <br />Election judges shall be appointed by the municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, the appointments shall be made at least 25 days before the election <br />at which the judges will serve; and <br />WHEREAS, election judges and election judge trainees shall receive at least the <br />prevailing Minnesota minimum wage for each hour spent carrying out duties at the <br />polling place and attending training. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo is dependent upon and appreciative of citizen <br />assistance for its election. process and, <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo 2012 primary and General Election Judge <br />appointments consist of individuals recommended by the City Clerk with the approval by <br />majority of the City Council <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Lake Elmo that the individuals listed on the attached Exhibit A are appointed to serve as <br />election judges for the August 14, 2012 Primary Election and November 6, 2012 General <br />and City Election at the hourly rate of $10.00 for election judges and $11.00 for head <br />election judges. <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE <br />NINTEENTH DAY OF JUVE 2012. <br />ATTEST: <br />tol'd�)' <br />P�hr� <br />Sandie Thone <br />City Clerk <br />Resolution 201230 1 <br />Dean A.
