A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE NAME OFA PORTION OF JULEP AVENUE NORTH <br />BETWEEN THE 45' STREET NORTH RIGHT -OF- WA YAND TAPESTRY ROAD <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF LAKE ELMO, MINNESOTA DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has received a request from Jim and Judith <br />Blackford, 9765 45t" Street North; Don and Judy Morris, 9759 45"' Street North; and Ryan and <br />Amy Miller, 9757 45"' Street North (Petitioners) to change the name of a portion of Julep <br />Avenue North between the 45th Street North right-of-way and its intersection with Tapestry Road <br />in the Tapestry at Charlotte's Grove subdivision to 45"' Street North as documented in the <br />attached Exhibit "N', and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Final Plat for Tapestry at Charlotte's Grove <br />at its December 7, 2012 meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the Final Plat provided for an access road into the development that <br />reconfigured the existing intersection of Julep Road North and 45"' Street and that named this <br />new access road Julep Avenue North to continue an existing street name into the subdivision, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, three existing homes (Petitioners) along the new portion of Julep Avenue <br />North all currently share a private driveway that provides access to Julep Avenue North; and <br />WHEREAS, the Petitioners homes retained their existing 45th Street North addresses, <br />even thought their driveway no longer connects to 45`x' Street North, and <br />WHEREAS, the Petitioners have requested to change the name of Julep Avenue North to <br />45"' Street North in order to correct the discrepancy between their addresses and the street on <br />which their driveway is located; and <br />WHEREAS, the street name change will not affect any existing or future homes or cause <br />any existing addresses to be reassigned; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner reviewed and examined the signatures on said request and <br />determined that such signatures constituted all landowners that use the afore mentioned driveway <br />for access; and <br />
