CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING CITY'S PERSONNEL POLIC" <br />AND CODE OF CONDUCT I <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lake Elmo believes success is primarily dependent <br />upon employees and provides for the following goals; Recognize employees as an <br />important part of the team, Provide a safe, efficient, and pleasant workplace, Establish <br />and maintain a truly open door communications environment, Encourage high-quality <br />service to our customers; and <br />WHEREAS, City employees require a personnel policy and employee handbook <br />to establish and maintain a reasonable system for administration of all personnel matters <br />except those matters covered by collective bargaining agreements; and <br />WHEREAS, the policy provides for guidelines and rules for the organization to <br />work within. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The City of Lake Elmo City Council hereby <br />adopts the City's Personnel Policy and Code of Conduct. <br />ADOPTED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL ON THE SIXTEENTH DAY <br />OF OCTOBER 2012. <br />(Seal) <br />Sandie Thone, i yy Clerk <br />Resolution 2012-54 <br />
