WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council authorization, a feasibility report was prepared by <br />FOCUS Engineering, Inc., dated February 2013 for the extension of sanitary sewer service along <br />Olson Lake Trail; and <br />WHEREAS, on the 19th day of February 2013, the City Council adopted Resolution <br />201.3-12 receiving the Feasibility Report for the Olson Lake Trail Sanitary Sewer Extension and <br />calling a Hearing on the Improvement to be held on March 19, 2013; and <br />WHEREAS, on the 19th day of February 2013, the City Council also adopted Resolution <br />2013713 declaring costs to be assessed and calling Hearing on the proposed Assessment to be <br />held on March 19, 2013; and <br />WHEREAS, staff received a property owner request, subsequent to the adoption of the <br />Feasibility Report, at 4709 Olson Lake Trail to be included in the proposed 2013 Improvement <br />Project and to pay all assessments accordingly, and staff has therefore amended the Feasibility <br />Report to include said property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Amended Feasibility Report has been completed by FOCUS <br />Engineering, Inc., dated March 2013, and provides information regarding whether the proposed <br />improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be remade as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the amended estimated cost of the <br />improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual <br />assessments for affected parcels; <br />1. That the City Council will consider the improvements in accordance with the Amended <br />Feasibility Report, dated March 2013, and the assessments of the abutting properties for <br />all or a portion of the cost of the Improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statues, Chapter <br />429 at an amended estimated total project cost of $141,000. <br />Resolution No. 2013-19 <br />
