FEASIBILITYNIN <br />COMM <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF A <br />FOR THE <br />WELL NO. 4 CONNECTING WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to extend trunk watermain facilities along 50"' Street and Lake Elm <br />Avenue, from 50" Street to 43"Street in order to connect Well No. 4 to the water distribution system; and <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to provide connection service stubs to properties located adjacent to <br />the watermain improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to assess a portion of the cost of the improvements pursuant to the <br />City's Special Assessment Policy and Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, <br />FOCUS Engineering is instructed to complete a feasibility report in accordance with Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429 for the proposed improvements, and to report to the council with all <br />convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed <br />improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement <br />as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments <br />for affected parcels and not exceeding $3,900 in costs unless approved by the City Administrator. <br />(Seal) <br />ATTEST: <br />Adam EelI g <br />City Clerk <br />Resolution No. 2013-60 <br />
