WHEREAS, the City undertakes public improvement projects from time to time, and may desire <br />to defray all or a portion of the cost of the improvements against the benefiting properties; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 16, 2010, the City adopted. the Special Assessment Policies and <br />Procedures for Public Improvements manual, to serve as the general guide for a systematic assessment <br />process for public improvements in Lake Elmo, and <br />V4 HEREAS, City staff is recommending aznendnaents to the policy to correct minor <br />discrepancies and amend the treatment of corner lots for street improvement projects to improve the fair <br />and equitable distribution of costs. <br />I .
