LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 2, 2010 1 <br />MINUTES APPROVED: March 23, 2010 <br />City of Lake Elmo <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />March 2, 2010 <br /> <br />Mayor Johnston called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Johnston and Council Members DeLapp, Emmons, Park and Smith. <br />Also Present: Administrator Messelt, Attorney Snyder, Planning Director Klatt, City <br />Engineer Griffin, Finance Director Bouthilet and City Clerk Lumby. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA: <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member DeLapp moved to approve the March 2, 2010 City Council <br />Agenda as amended by moving Item No. 4 before Item No. 2. Council Member Smith <br />seconded the motion. The motion passed 5-0. <br /> <br />GROUND RULES: <br /> <br />APPROVED MINUTES: <br />The February 16, 2010 City Council minutes were postponed. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS/INQUIRIES: None <br /> <br />GOOD NEWS/GOOD PEOPLE: <br />Stuart Helgason, Computer Troubleshooters, is a ‘Global’ franchise, U.S. Corporate <br />office in Atlanta, Georgia. Lake Elmo resident, Jack Magistad started CT in July of 2009 <br />and their office is located at Brookfield II. CT offers a broad range of services (PC Tune <br />Ups Windows 7 Upgrades, Clean up virus/malware infected PC’s, off site ‘secure’ data <br />back-ups) to businesses as well as homeowners. <br /> <br />South Washington Watershed District Update: Matt Moore <br /> <br />Matt Moore, South Washington Watershed District Administrator, provided the City <br />Council with an update on the activities of the District. The Council asked questions. No <br />Council action was recommended at this time. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA: <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Smith moved to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. <br />Council Member Park seconded the motion. The motion passed 5-0. <br /> <br /> Approve payment of disbursements and payroll in the amount of $163,755.35. <br /> Approve the proposed Budget Adjustment and procurement and installation of <br />upgraded water meters, as presented.
