LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES August 4, 2010 2
Authorization to purchase GPS Equipment and Software

Bruce Messelt, City Administrator, asked the Council to authorize the purchase of Global
Positioning System (GPS) equipment and associated software for $7,820.00 and rental of
an additional antenna for $256 per month. The antenna rental is being requested to
determine if the additional accuracy it would provide is needed and if the equipment
would be user-friendly enough to be purchased in the future.
