LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES MAY 6, 2008 4 <br /> <br />Consider approving an application to the 1000 Friends of Minnesota for a Community <br />Growth Options Grant, Resolution no. 2008-023 <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Johnson moved to approve Resolution no. 2008-023 <br />authorizing the application for a 1,000 Friends of Minnesota Community Growth Options <br />Grant. Council Member Smith seconded the motion. Mayor Johnston and Council <br />Members Johnson, Park and Smith voted in favor of the motion and Council Member <br />DeLapp voted against the motion. <br /> <br />REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br /> <br />Mayor Johnston attended the Mayors Conference in Alexandria, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith reported on and thanked volunteers and public works for their <br />participation in the tree planting along Highway 5 by the Carriage Station development. <br /> <br />Council Member DeLapp shared a copy of email correspondence that he had with the <br />Metropolitan Council members regarding residential equivalent units in the <br />Memorandum of Understanding and the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnston adjourned the meeting at 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted by Sharon Lumby, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />Resolution no. 2008-022 Payment of claims <br />Resolution no. 2008-023 Authorize application for a 1,000 Friends of Minnesota
