LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES JUNE 17, 2008 4 <br />Provide direction to the city attorney to enforce outstanding items on the settlement <br />agreement dated September 5, 2006 with Rod and Diane Sessing, 5699 Keats Avenue <br /> <br />The City Council was asked to review the status of the settlement agreement between the <br />City and Rod and Diane Sessing and to give direction to the city attorney on how to <br />proceed with determining the Sessing’s compliance to the settlement agreement. <br /> <br />Rod Sessing, 5699 Keats Avenue, said this property was inspected by two building <br />officials and passed all inspections. <br /> <br />Joan Ziertman, 5761 Keats Avenue, provided pictures showing the terms of the <br />settlement agreement have not been met. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member DeLapp moved to refer the settlement agreement dated <br />September 5, 2006 with Rod and Diane Sessing to Attorney Filla for compliance action. <br />Mayor Johnston seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Consider appointing a member of the City Council to apply for the Grant Evaluation and <br />Ranking System (GEARS) Transportation Committee <br /> <br />The City Council discussed sending a nomination to the Grant Evaluation and Ranking <br />System (GEARS) Committee, which is an advisory committee to the County Transit <br />Improvement board (CTOIB). <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Smith moved to appoint Mayor Johnston to be the city of <br />Lake Elmo’s candidate for the Grant Evaluation and Ranking System (GEARS) <br />Committee. Council Member Park seconded the motion.
