LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES OCTOBER 21, 2008 1 <br />APPROVED MINUTES: November 5, 2008 <br />City of Lake Elmo <br />City Council Minutes <br /> <br />October 21, 2008 <br /> <br />Mayor Johnston called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Johnston and Council Members DeLapp, Johnson, Park and Smith <br /> <br />Also present: Planning Director Klatt, City Attorney Filla, Project Assistant <br />Kriegler, Finance Director Bouthilet and City Clerk Lumby. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA: <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Johnson moved to approve the October 21, 2008 agenda as <br />presented. Council Member Park seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />ORDER OF BUSINESS: <br /> <br />GROUND RULES: <br /> <br />APPROVED MINUTES: <br /> <br />The minutes of October 7, 2008 were approved by consensus. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS/INQUIRIES: <br /> <br />Ann-O Suckow, Lake Elmo Jaycees community development VP 2008 (1945 Polaris <br />Place, North St.Paul), updated the council on future Halloween events. <br /> <br />Susan Dunn, 11018 Upper 33rd Street N., pointed out an error in an article in the <br />Stillwater Gazette, written by Andrew Wallmeyer, in regard to Mayor Dean Johnston <br />being a retired 3M Company executive. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA: <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member DeLapp moved to approve the consent agenda. Council <br />Member Johnson seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />• Approval of disbursements in the amount of $325,581.28 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
