complied with this Chapter, the Director of Planning shalt issue written notice of <br />violation to the owner of record and require him or her to complete the work. <br />b. Cease and Desist Order. Upon investigation, if the Director of Planning has probable <br />cause to believe a violation of this Chapter has occurred and that immediate stoppage <br />of work is necessary to minimize harm caused by such violation, the Director of <br />Planning may issue a cease and desist order to halt the progress of any property <br />modification. When any work has been stopped by a cease and desist order, it shall <br />not be resumed until the reason for the work stoppage has been completely satisfied <br />and the cease and desist order lifted. <br />D. Administrative Fee for Enforcement. The Director of Planning shall charge an administrative <br />fee, as set by resolution of the City Council, to compensate for time spent involving the <br />investigation and prosecution of violations, and including any expenses incurred during the <br />investigation. <br />E. After the Fact Applications and Fees. Any person making application for a permit after the <br />commencement of work requiring a permit, shalt be charged an additional administrative fee. <br />In the event the application for a permit is denied or the action permitted does not include all <br />or part of the work commenced prior to approval of said permit, the Director of Planning shall <br />require correction and/or restoration of the concerned property to its original state, including <br />removal of structures or improvements. <br />lvanfm.j.
