The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo hereby amends Title 1: General <br />Provisions; Chapter 11: General Code Provisions, by amending section 11.01 Definitions to <br />add the following definitions in alphabetical order with the already existing definitions: <br />ANIMATION. The movement or the optical illusion of movement of any part a sign, sign <br />structure, design, or pictorial segment, including the movement of any illumination or the <br />flashing or varying of light intensity; the automatic changing of all or any part of the facing of a <br />street sign. <br />AWNING. A shelter supported entirely from the exterior wall of a building. <br />CANOPY. A detachable, rooflike cover, supported from the ground or deck, floor or walls <br />of a structure, for protection from the sun or weather. <br />pg 4 <br />
