Q 7- 2o(o <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO ACCESSORY BUILDINGS <br />The Lake Elmo City Council hereby ordains that Section 300.13 Subd. 4 of the <br />Lake Elmo City Code is amended to read as follows: <br />Subd. 4 Number/Size of Accessory Buildines. The maximum number <br />and size of accessory buildings permitted in each zoning district shall be <br />as follows, provided that no accessory buildings shall be constructed <br />unless there is adequate room for any required secondary drain field <br />site. <br />NUMBER/SIZE OF ACCESSORY BUILDINGS <br />Agricultural <br />There shall be no limit on the size or number of <br />accessory buildings so long as the parcel is a nominal <br />forty (40) acres or more, and buildings are agricultural <br />business as defined in 300.13 Subd 3(A)(5) <br />Agricultural (Non -conforming) <br />Up to ten (10) acres <br />Two !L buildings with a combined tetai area not to <br />exceed two thousand (2,000) <br />square feet. <br />Over ten (10) acres but less <br />Two (2) buildings and the area of each building with a <br />than forty (40) acres <br />tnt;d a za not to exceed two thousand (2,000) square <br />feet. <br />Rural Residential <br />Up to ten (10) acres <br />One (1) two thousand (2,000) square feet detached <br />building; in addition to an attached garage <br />Over ten (10) acres but less <br />One (1) two thousand five hundred (2,500) square feet <br />than fifteen (15) acres <br />detached building; in addition to an attached garage <br />Over fifteen (15) acres to 2S <br />One (1) three thousand (3,000) square feet detached <br />ages <br />building; in addition to an attached garage <br />Residential - R1, RED and OP <br />Over Five Thousand (5,000) <br />A combined area of one thousand two hundred (1,200) <br />square feet te I arF but less <br />square feet for attached and detached accessory <br />than one (1) acre <br />structures or residential garage; the size of the footprint <br />of the detached structure shall not exceed the size of <br />the footprint of the primary structure <br />From One (1) acre to two (2) <br />One (1) one thousand two hundred (1,200) square feet <br />acres <br />detached residential garage or building in addition to an <br />attached garage <br />Over two (2) acres <br />One (1) one thousand three hundred (1,300) square feet <br />detached residential garage or building in addition to an <br />attached garage <br />
