CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 97- 1 t}() <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 150 <br />OF THE LAKE ELMO MUNICIPAL CODE <br />TO REPEAL ONE DEFINTION OF BULDING HEIGHT AND AMEND <br />THE REMAINING DEFINTION OF BUILDING HEIGHT <br />Section 1. Amendment: Section 150 'Definitions" of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code is <br />hereby amended to amend the definition of Building Height, to wit: <br />Building Height <br />The vertical distance from the average of the highest and lowest point of grade for that <br />portion of the lot covered by building to the highest point of the roof for flat roofs; to the <br />roof deck line of mansard roofs; and to the mean height between eaves and the hi hest <br />ridge for gable, hip and hambrel roofs. <br />Section 2. Reveal: Section 150 "Definitions" of the Lake Elmo City Code is hereby <br />amended to repeal the definition of Building Height, to wit: <br />Building Height <br />The vertical distance between the lowest grade level at the building line and the <br />uppermost point on the roof. <br />Section 3. Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and <br />publication according to law.
