CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />.ASIINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOfA <br />ORDINANCE 81- 21 <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO <br />NO PARKING ZONES <br />The Lake Elmo City Council ordains that Section 1002.040 of the Lake Elmo city <br />Code is hereby amended; and Section 1002.050 is hereby added <br />to the Lake Elmo City Code to read as follows: <br />1002.040 Parldng_Prohibited: No vehicle shall be parked in the following posted "No <br />Parking" zones, unless a Temporary Parking Permit has been issued by the City Administrator <br />as provided in Section 1002.050: <br />1002.050 Temporary Parkini_P_er_it. A person who resides adjacent to a posted no parking <br />zone may obtain a Temporary Parking Permit for a special event by making application to the <br />City Administrator at least three (3) days prior to the date of special event. A Temporary <br />Parking Permit shall allow for parking of residential passenger vehicles within a No Parking <br />zone for a period not to exceed twenty-four (24) consecutive hours. The City Administrator <br />shall notify the County Sheriff before issuing a Temporary Parting Permit and shall arrange to <br />have the posted No Parking Signs covered during the period described in the permit. <br />Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and publication <br />according to law. <br />Adopted by the Lake Elmo City Council the 20th day of June, 1995. <br />Wyn 110q, <br />M <br />Attest <br />Mary ue ' er, City k/Administrator <br />Published in the Stillwater Gazette on the 23rd day of June , 1995. <br />Motion John <br />Second DeLaDD <br />Ayes 5 <br />Nays 0 <br />
