ARTICLE 13. EFFECTIVE DATE: PUBLICATION: DISSOLUTION <br />13.01 Publication: Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be properly executed by the <br />Grantor in accordance with local rules. This Ordinance shall take effect upon publication <br />within fifteen (15) days after adoption. This Ordinance may incorporate by reference, <br />without publication in full, a statute of Minnesota or a rule of the Board or the FCC and the <br />Offering of Company. <br />13.02 Dissolution of Commission. <br />A. Method. Commission shall continue for an indefinite term up to and <br />including fifteen (15) years. The Commission may be terminated only upon <br />the expiration the Joint Powers Agreement or by the operation of state or <br />federal law. <br />B. Distribution of Assets. Upon dissolution of Commission, all remaining assets <br />of Commission, after payment of obligations, shall be distributed among the <br />Member Municipalities, including Grantor, in proportion to their contributions <br />and in accordance with procedures established by Commission. Commission <br />shall continue to exist after dissolution for such period, no longer than six (6) <br />months, as is necessary to wind up its affairs, but for no other purpose. <br />C. Effectiveness of Ordinance after Dissolution. Upon the dissolution of <br />Commission by operation of state or federal law, the Franchise shall remain <br />effective and enforceable by Grantor within its territorial limits. <br />30 <br />
