CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE 80- 92 <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 502.160, 502.165, AND 502.170 <br />RELATING TO EROSION CONTROL TO THE <br />LAKE ELMO MUNICIPAL CODE <br />Section 1. Amendment: Sections 502.160, 502.165 and 502.170 of the <br />1979 Municipal Code of Lake Elmo are hereby added to the 1979 Municipal <br />Code of Lake Elmo and shall read as follows: <br />502.160. Erosion Control: The Valley Branch Watershed Districts <br />regulations regarding erosion control, sediment control and runoff shall apply to <br />all construction in the City of Lake Elmo. <br />Erosion control must be provided on all lots. Silt fence is the <br />recommended method until grass or sod can be established. Silt fence <br />installation shall be in accordance with the recommendation for Installation of <br />Straw and Fabric Filter Barriers for sediment Control, Sherwood and Wyant. <br />502.165. Compliance with Other Government Permits Required. All <br />conditions of any permits required or issued by other governmental units in <br />connection with the development of property, prior to issuance of a building <br />permit, grAding permit, or any other local permit required for development <br />purposes, shall be incorporated into the City's permit. <br />502.170. Failure to Comply. Failure to comply will result in immediate <br />work stopage until erosion control is established. <br />Section 2.
