CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE 80- So <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION14QZ020 OF THE <br />1979 LAKE ELMO MUNICIPAL CODE AS IT RELATES TO THE ANNUAL <br />LICENSING DATE FOR DOGS <br />The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo ordains: <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT: Section 1402.020 of the 1979 Municipal Code of the <br />City of Lake Elmo is hereby amended to change the date for the annual licensing of dogs <br />in the City of Lake Elmo, and Section 1402.020 will read as follows: <br />1402.020 Dog Licensing Required: No person shall own, keep or harbor any dog <br />over the age of four months, within the City of Lake Elmo, unless a dog license therefor <br />has first been secured. Dog Licenses shall be issued by the Administrator for a fee set <br />by Resolution of the City Council. It shall be the duty of each person owning, keeping, <br />or harboring a dog to pay the license fee imposed by this Section to the Administrator <br />on or before the first day of January each year, or upon establishing residence in the <br />City, to forthwith pay such license fee. The Administrator may cause a notice of the <br />necessity of such license fee to be printed in the official newspaper in December prior <br />to each license year. <br />SECTION 2.
